GB4237/4238 0Cr25Ni20 stainless steel application range

GB4237/4238 0Cr25Ni20 Concept and features:

0Cr25Ni20 is a high chromium nickel austenitic stainless steel, also known as the new grade 06Cr25Ni20. This stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing media, while showing good high temperature mechanical properties. Therefore, it can be used for both corrosion-resistant parts and high-temperature parts. However, in the process of steel production and smelting, the continuous casting process is easy to produce the defects of the longitudinal crack of the casting billet, which is mainly caused by some inherent physical properties.

Chemical composition of GB4237/4238 0Cr25Ni20:

The main chemical components of the stainless steel include chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), manganese (Mn), silicon (Si), phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S). Its content range is roughly: chromium (Cr) content is 24% to 26%, nickel (Ni) content is 18% to 22%, manganese (Mn) content is not more than 2%, silicon (Si) content is not more than 1%, phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S) content is not more than 0.035% and 0.030%, respectively. In addition, it may contain small amounts of iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), titanium (Ti) and other elements.

GB4237/4238 0Cr25Ni20 Delivery status:

The delivery status of 0Cr25Ni20 usually depends on the specific production process, customer needs and order regulations. Possible states include hot rolling, cold rolling, annealing, etc., and possible surface states such as polishing or pickling. The specific delivery status will be clearly specified in the contract to ensure that the product can meet the actual needs of the customer.

GB4237/4238 0Cr25Ni20 Application:

Because 0Cr25Ni20 has excellent corrosion resistance, heat resistance, oxidation resistance and good processing properties, it has been widely used in many fields. For example, it can be used in the manufacture of furnace components and automobile exhaust steam devices. At the same time, its inherent corrosion resistance makes it particularly suitable for the manufacture of corrosion-resistant parts.
