S355JR High-Strength Structural Steel Introduction

S355JR is a high-strength non-alloy structural steel from the EN10025 standard. With a minimum yield strength of 355 MPa, it offers higher strength for efficient structural design.

Its composition includes moderate carbon (≤0.24%), manganese, silicon, and optional micro-alloying elements to enhance strength and toughness.

S355JR can be delivered in hot-rolled or normalized condition, improving toughness for dynamic loads.

Widely used in steel bridges, offshore structures, cranes, high-rise buildings, and heavy machinery. Its strength allows reduced plate thickness and lower project costs.
