A537CL2 steel is carbon manganese silicon steel plate after heat treatment with American Standard pressure vessel, is divided into three levels, namelyA537CL1, A537CL2, A537CL3. Sometimes written or read SA537CL1, SA537CL2, SA537CL3, and SA are shorthand for standard ASTM. Executive standard: ASTM/ASME American Standard.

Boiler steel plate A537CL2 have to be done Quenched and tempered heat treatment comparing with A537CL1.The tempering temperature for A537CL2 steel plate shall not be less than 595 centigree,and last at least 1/2 hour.Tensile strength for boiler steel plate A537CL2 shall be within 550-690 Mpa,and yield strength above 415 Mpa.

A537CL2 steel delivery status: according to customer requirements for hot rolling, normalizing, tempering, quenching + tempering and other processing processes for delivery.

A537CL2 steel technical requirements: flaw detection, Z15-Z35 thickness, direction, performance requirements, high strength, high toughness requirements, such as steel plate.
