EN 10025 2 S355JR equivalent steel materials

EN 10025 2 S355JR steel is high strength low alloy European standard structural steel covering four of the six "Parts" within the EN 10025 standard. With minimum yield of 50,000 KSI, EN 10025 2 S355JR steel material meets requirements in chemical and physical properties similar to ASTM A572 grade 50. EN 10025 2 S355JR steel material is used in almost every facet of structural fabrication.

EN 10025 2 S355JR equivalent steel materials are intended for structural work where no significant forming or bending must be done, such as cranes and other general structural projects. The dimensional tolerance of EN 10025 2 S355JR steel material is in accordance with EN 10025. S355JR steel material is standardized with a specified impact strength of 27 J at a few different temperatures, but EN 10025 2 gives guidelines how to extend the designation.
